Thank you for your enquiry about submitting rounds played Overseas for handicapping in Golf Link.
All Scores need to be submitted by the Players Home Club, the following should provide some further details around the procedures.
Eligibility
The decision on whether to allow Overseas Scores to be handicapped is at the discretion of the Club but is permitted under GA's World Handicapping System (WHS).
The Scorecard should be counter signed by an Officially Handicapped Golfer (GA or Overseas).
Handicapping
Overseas Scores will be treated in the same way as any Ad hoc Score submitted for handicapping and count towards a GA Handicap if they are within the Players last 20 rounds & are eligible. Club Score
Processing
The Club can process the Score via their Golf Management Software, this may be Golf Link Tier 1 or one of the many Tier 3 Golf Software Providers.
If the Club are unsure as to how to process an Overseas Score, then they should contact the Support Desk of their Golf Software Provider.
Club Played At
Golf Link has a generic Club called Overseas Golf Club that all Clubs use to allow Overseas Scores to be submitted.
The submitted Score will not specify the Name of the actual Club played at.
